Ms. Cohen is a Partner and the Chief Investment Officer at Vanbarton Group, where she is responsible for overseeing investment strategy and portfolio management across the firm’s real estate platform.

Prior to joining Vanbarton, she was a Managing Director of Business Development and Real Estate at Mitsubishi UFJ Investor Services. Before that, she served as a Managing Partner at Castle Lanterra Properties, where she led the firm’s corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and private placement efforts.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Cohen was a Senior Consultant and Head of Corporate Strategy and Client Relations at Courtland Partners, an institutional real asset advisor. There, she advised large corporations, insurance companies, RIAs, and pension funds on real estate allocations and capital deployment opportunities within their portfolios.

She has meaningful experience in building platforms, having held senior roles at Capital Dynamics as Managing Director and Global Chief Operating Officer of Private Equity, and at Golub Capital as Chief Administrative Officer and Head of Business Development. Over the course of her career, she has been involved in a broad range of transactions across the real estate and other sectors. She also held senior investment banking and advisory roles at J.P. Morgan, UBS Investment Bank, and Credit Suisse First Boston.

Ms. Cohen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art History with a concentration in Mathematics from Columbia University.
