(NEW YORK, NY.) October 19, 2015 - The CenterCap Group LLC ("CCG") announced today that it has appointed James Mead as a member to its Advisory Board. Mr. Mead brings to the firm extensive board and direct real estate investment experience, in addition to a wealth of relationships. Mr. Mead served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SL Green Realty Corp. from November 2010 until December 2014. As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Mead was responsible for finance, capital markets, investor relations and administration. Prior to joining SL Green, from November 2004 to March 2010, Mr. Mead was Chief Financial Officer of Strategic Hotels and Resorts, Inc., a high-end hotel REIT with properties in the US, Mexico and Europe. From April 1993 to October 1999, Mr. Mead was at the California based apartment REIT Irvine Apartment Communities, where in addition to being Chief Financial Officer, he was responsible for the company's property management division. Mr. Mead also worked as head of capital markets for the Irvine Company and previously worked at JP Morgan in investment banking.

Mr. Mead is a member of the Board of Directors for Easterly Government Properties, where he chairs the audit committee and is a member of the compensation committee. He is also on the Board of Advisors for the School of Science and Engineering at Tulane University. A graduate of Tulane University, Mr. Mead holds an MBA from the University of Virginia's Colgate Darden School of Business Administration.
