The CenterCap Group Acquires KAP Group, LLC, Expanding Its Investor Advisory Service Offerings.
(NEW YORK, NY.) April 1, 2019 - The CenterCap Group, LLC ("CCG") is pleased to announce that it has acquired the KAP Group, LLC ("KAP"), broadening CCG's investor advisory practice. Jennifer Hutter, KAP's Chief Executive Officer, will become a senior member of CCG's team, joining as Managing Director and Head of Institutional Advisory Services. Ms. Hutter will lead the continued provision of legacy KAP Group offerings, providing outsourced investor relations and strategic advice to real estate managers across their fundraising lifecycles. In addition, she will enhance CCG's current efforts around global consulting for fund managers on business strategy and product development, supplementing CCG's business capabilities with KAP's investor specific oriented offerings, including KAP's proprietary investor survey, scorecard and communication products.
This strategic decision is reflective of CCG's continued focus on the institutional investor universe and the firm's objective of global leadership in the real estate investment management advisory sector. CCG has in-depth real estate expertise, long-standing industry relationships spanning investment managers to global real estate investment institutions and success in completing transaction assignments. The addition of an investor relations advisory practice, with KAP Group, will strengthen CCG's branding as a full-service real estate focused advisory firm, and Ms. Hutter's significant experience working with investment managers on their investor relations strategies, will provide a complementary depth of advice to both KAP and CCG clients.
