(NEW YORK, NY.) September 08, 2015 - The CenterCap Group LLC ("CCG") announced today that it has appointed Lisa Eyles Beeson as a member to its Advisory Board. It is the first in a series of appointments the firm is expected to make over the coming months as CCG continues to expand its public REIT coverage effort. Ms. Beeson has a long history of providing strategic and transaction advice to the real estate sector and it is anticipated she will play an active role in this key area of growth for the firm. Ms. Beeson has been involved in over $400 billion of M&A transactions throughout her career and brings to the firm a wealth of relationships, experience and expertise.
Ms. Beeson's career has included roles spanning both the advisory and principal capacities. Most recently, Ms. Beeson served as President and COO of American Realty Capital Properties ("ARCP") where she spearheaded the $1.9 billion sale of a retail portfolio to Blackstone, the $1.6 billion acquisition of Red Lobster restaurants and the $3 billion sale of Cole Corporate and Income Trust to Select Income REIT. Prior to her roles with ARCP, Ms. Beeson served as Managing Director and Global Head of Real Estate M&A for Barclays Capital and occupied the same position at Lehman Brothers. Before joining Lehman Brothers, Ms. Beeson was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley and Wachovia Securities. During this period of her career, Ms. Beeson led numerous high profile transactions in the real estate space, including the sale of CPA 16 Global to W. P. Carey, the sale of Archstone to the Lehman Brothers Estate, Spirit Realty Capital's acquisition of Cole Credit Property Trust II, and Brookfield Asset Management's recapitalization of General Growth Properties.
